Odalys J. Waugh has been providing services and support for our community since 1996. During the last 6 years she has been advocating for the elderly members of our community. She operated a program for the Elderly Victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, she further assisted this population in their needs to find protection against abuse and establish a new meaning in their lives.
In 2007 she obtained Doctoral Degree from the American Academy of Clinical Sexologist. Previously, In 2004 she received her Board Certification to practice Sex Therapy in Florida. This allowed her to incorporate sex therapy with clients when necessary. Doctor Waugh received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Barry University in 1998 and 2002 respectively.
2000 Therapy Center will offer individual and group sessions in English and Spanish. More specifically, psychotherapy and Sex Therapy services to adults and families in need, including post-traumatic stress programs for survivors of assault or violence. The Center also specializes on Geriatric victims of domestic violence.
The Center is planning to implement a collaborative system, working with the medical professionals in South Florida. All our clients will benefit from comprehensive clinical services.
