An important part of emotional wellness is to value who you are and what you do.

This group addresses issues common to adolescents, such as peer pressure, relationships (peer, sibling, and parent), decision making, experimentation and identity issues re: sex, drugs, & alcohol, academic pressure, social problem-solving, communication, andA self-esteem, career guidance. Women often have many roles and responsibilities in their lives. They can be a mother, a daughter, a friend, a leader, a co-worker, a wife, a partner, a volunteer, a bill payer, a homemaker, and so on – all at the same time. These many roles and tasks can make women feel overwhelmed.

An important element of being an adolescent is to learn the process of building a healthy and stable relationship. This will ultimately lead to an awareness of the important ingredients for the future healthy relationships and create a well balanced life.   Many adolescents and their families don't have enough tools that they can use in building an open, productive, loving and sharing relationship.   This group offers a very friendly, relaxed, sharing, open and pressure free environment which is a key to success in therapy. It will help adolescents and will allow them to guide each other, creating new branches of relationships and transforming and understanding  their needs.

OUR GROUPS

Group therapy is a form of counseling in which a small number of people come together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another. The therapy has been widely used and has been a standard and effective treatment option for over 50 years. In group, not only do Individuals receive tremendous understanding, support, and encouragement from others facing similar issues, but they also gain different perspectives, ideas, and viewpoints on those issues. Group therapy, like individual therapy is a powerful vehicle for growth and change, and is intended to help people who would like to gain support, increase self-awareness, and learn new ways to cope with personal or interpersonal challenges.
